| Having built the Mono and the Bipe, the next obvious plane was the Tripe. This time I decided on 6" span since the 3 wings would make up the area. I also designed a built-up fuselage, still using carbon rods.
On the maiden flight, after several ground loops, I punched in full throttle and it flew well right away, though I did have to move the CG forward a little. Now it is a really stable and reliable flier. I usually fly it, or the Bipe, first during an evening's flying.
